What we offer

Studio 33 Sittard offers a range of movement practices with one aim in mind: to get you moving in a happy, evidence-based way.

What that means is you can be sure that the teaching you are given is planned specifically around you, not based on a set of one-size-fits-all rules. This brings a unique and powerful way for you to get stronger, more balanced and more flexible – so that you feel great.

We currently offer Pilates group classes and private sessions. Scroll down to see what suits you and.

Group reformer classes

Reformer Pilates is practiced with equipment that utilizes a spring system. A Reformer is made up of a frame and platform bed, a set of risers with pulleys and ropes attached, a footbar and a sliding carriage which attaches to the springs and gear system. Using a Reformer offers both assistance, as well as resistance, with all the exercises via the springs. Often the lighter the resistance, the more difficult the work as the body must always control the movement of the Reformer. It is effective and accessible for beginners as well as the advanced individual. It adds a dynamism to the work out which is different from mat work.

In Pilates, your muscles are working to lift against gravity and (in the case of the reformer) the resistance of the springs or bands, with the ultimate goal of strengthening the muscles. Your goal should be to take your time with the exercises, focus on the task at hand, and connect your mind with your body and your breath.

Clinical Rehab Pilates

Clinical Pilates is client-centered care looking at movement, function and performance as combined with lifestyle factors.

Sessions are one-on-one (or duet in some cases) and help you work through injury, pain or other health conditions to get you back to doing the things you love. Specialised equipment is used to help movement and build strength, flexibility and control. Sessions last 50 minutes and, for the best results, at least 6 sessions should be booked.

Duet Pilates

All the fun of the Pilates reformer (and more) with a mate to challenge? Yes, it really is a great way to motivate each other and get super-fit, super-quickly!

Group Pilates

Mat-based group sessions can vary in focus but one thing sticks throughout – you’ll have a lot of fun while ticking the clinical guidelines for movement. There’s a sprinkling of cardio, a good dollop of resistance training and lashings of endurance. Check out out various sessions for all levels and pick the one that feels right for you.
